I want to share the insider track on an amazing new product that you will want to get your hands on, I promise! It recently launched in Charlotte Tilbury on the 1st of March, and is now the secret weapon to my foundation.

I am delighted to bring you a sneak preview of the amazing Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter… Charlotte is known for her Hollywood artistry, she has been a make-up artist to A-listers including Penelope Cruz and Nicole Kidman, to name a few, so she is full of Hollywood secrets when it comes to perfecting ‘red-carpet skin’.

Charlotte has been creating and perfecting this product for years, but behind the scenes this formula has been her secret weapon on catwalk shows and Hollywood events.

So, what exactly does it do? According to Charlotte it creates “real life, super-starlit, J.Lo skin”.

Charlotte’s new Hollywood Flawless Filter is a customisable complexion-booster that acts like a filter to smooth fine lines and pores, blur imperfections and give a super-starlit glow. This product is make-up mixology made easy. It brings together the versatility of a primer, the mega-watt glow of a highlighter and the perfecting properties of your favourite digital filter.

Inspired by the light play of Charlotte’s make-up artistry, the Hollywood Flawless Filter combines the coding of social media filters and Hollywood camera tricks that read, blur and lift the appearance of your skin.

“It’s the ultimate high gloss, high glow celebrity skin glow in a bottle”
– Charlotte Tilbury

So, let’s break it down, there are four ways you can use this product: ‘Beneath it, blend it, boost it, bling it’. In simple terms: on its own, underneath your foundation, mixed in with your foundation or lastly, on top of your foundation like a highlighter. So you have plenty of options. I have tested the different methods of use, however my favourite way to wear this product is underneath my foundation as I find the glow is subtle, yet makes such a difference to my skin’s appearance.

Here I am wearing it on its own, I only have a light day moisturiser on underneath it. What I really loved about this product was the consistency – it feels thick when you apply it with the applicator, however once you rub it into your skin it actually gets thinner and feels very lightweight on the skin. It instantly blurred over my face and definitely made me feel more confident without make-up. For example, this product would be my go-to for the gym because it is so light but still offers a slight coverage.

Next, I applied my normal routine make-up over the top of it and absolutely loved the finish. It made my skin glow, but also left it looking flawless. It’s a 10/10 from me for Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter!

When is it out and how much does it cost?
It’s £30 and launched in Charlotte Tilbury stores and on worldwide from the 1st of March 2018. So grab yours now!
