The Royal Wedding: Best Dressed

  • 26

Yesterday we witnessed the second Royal Wedding of the year as the Queen’s granddaughter, Princess Eugenie married her long-term partner Jack Brooksbank at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

The ceremony took place at Windsor Castle where the 850 guests, including friends, family and celebrities, began arriving from 10am and passed through the stunning entrance of autumnal trees and seasonal flowers designed by Rob Van Helden.

At exactly three minutes to eleven, Princess Eugenie arrived in a Rolls Royce Phantom and looked breath-taking as she stepped out of the car to greet cheering crowds. Her ivory gown, with a full-length train, was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos who founded British label, Peter Pilotto. The elegant folding neckline fell into a low v-shape back at the request of the Princess who wanted to show her scar from receiving surgery for scoliosis as a child. The Princess wore the Queen’s Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, made by Boucheron in 1919. The beautifully ornate tiara featured rose-cut diamonds and six emeralds which brought out the beauty in Princess Eugenie’s eyes.

Naturally, the highlight of a wedding for any fashion lover is the dress but also the attire of the guests – particularly super stylish celebrity guests.
